Hello people😊
Even the most successful person has gone through a lot of failures.
So is it like you have to fail every time before achieving success or is there any bypass?
See in one's life there is not a single definition of success. It just moves from one goal to another. Let's take an example: when you were in 1st std, probably your goal was to come 1st in a race or win the prize. That was something you had considered your success then. Now, when you were in 10th your goal probably had shifted to getting good grades in board exams and similarly the definition of your success. Now that you are in 11th and 12th your definition of success is probably cracking the JEE. Similarly, once you'll get into college, placements in good companies or something worthy would be your definition.
Probably you got my point. Your goal keeps changing and you are never fully successful or satisfied. You don't even stop to celebrate a bit but just keep hustling in that Rat race. Then how could you expect you can get everything by just trying, failing. and getting up again and again. .
My dear friends, please understand that this always trying and trying is not enough.
"If you can't learn from your failure you can never succeed." Probably you have heard this numerous times. But the reality is "If you can't learn from failure you can never succeed." Since you don't have time to celebrate your success, that means you definitely don't even have time to fail.
Can we do something about this? Yes totally.
We can learn from failures. But the question is, "From where we will get these failure stories from? And even if we do get them, what to learn from them? Because most of the part of the story is not so important whether be a failure or success story.
I'm gonna share with you some learnings that I firmly believe you all should also know to avoid repeating same mistakes. Now before going to the learnings, I want to clarify that the mistakes listed below are not something that I cooked up but the real things which happened with me and my friends.
1) Many people didn't came to the coaching for giving tests thinking they will do it later on at home.(Especially the full tests at the end of 12th. Even in my batch, hardly 3-4 students went to give the tests and we all got into good IITs).
2) Many students leave the topics or don't practice questions at the same time when these topics are taught and later on run after others to help them in that topics. (Please note that once the topic is left, it is left forever)
3) Studying 15-18 hours a day. Most of the students and more then them, their parents think that studying more will get you into IIT. Its just a myth, you don't need any fixed time. A student can clear JEE even by studying 6 hours per day or may not be able to do so even by studying15 hours per day.
Why I say 6 hours? Here's the calculation: You have got 24hrs, out of which 8 hours are compulsorily for sleep. Left with 16, food, bath & other activities will take another 3hrs. Out of 13 hrs that are left, again take out 3 hrs for hobbies/ family time. Finally you have 10 hours. So what I believe is that you cannot give more than 10hrs. to your studies. Also you have classes probably for 4hrs. So you are left with only 6hrs. for your actual studies.
4) Be sure to go through Physics and Inorganic Chemistry NCERT at least. (Many of my friends didn't even touched NCERT even I didn't touched it before November 2019 but after our syllabus was over I tried to see what's inside, at first it seemed boring, but gradually I generated interest in it.)
5) Maintaining Consistency : Many students didn't had a consistency in them. They studied once a week and thought that they were doing great. While some serious students used to thought their consistency breaks, if they didn't study for a day. Let's understand what this consistency is :
Consistency means you study regularly and even if you miss a day or two you cover that afterwards. The reason may be anything - you were sick, you were travelling or probably you didn't wanted to study that particular day but you cope up with everything at the last. For a good result maximum break you can take from studies is 3-4 days a month until and unless there is a serious health issue or a family problem.
HOPE YOU GOT TODAY'S LESSON!!!...
